Catalyst Solutions offers an Information Management Assessment, which is a benchmark for evaluating an organization’s information enterprise, identifying gaps, and recommending proven techniques to help resolve and implement the framework’s directives. Catalyst Solutions provides uniquely insightful and effective solutions for program management clients based upon demonstrated IM expertise and PM-level experience within the DoD program management environment.

Information Management:

Catalyst leadership recognized the critical link between program management and information management processes. More specifically, this observation highlighted the lack of dedicated information management expertise and processes within the PMO. Meanwhile, information-based products characterized virtually everything that the PMO produced.


In 2008, Catalyst expertise launched an information management initiative in order to identify and capitalize upon the synergy between these two functional areas. With dedicated information management staffing, training, tools, and processes, the PMO rapidly eliminated time-consuming “spread-sheet drills”, streamlined document development, and expanded the virtual office environment to incorporate multi-site team members into a single collaborative workspace.
The solutions introduced by this successful initiative were subsequently embraced throughout Product Group 12, stimulated greater IM awareness throughout the command, and shaped the organizational vision for leveraging IM in support of PM objectives.
